This week Ashlyn had her 2 month checkup and all went well. She weighs 10 lbs. 4 oz. and is 23 1/2" tall. Dr. Giannini thinks Ashlyn will be close to Dustin's height. June will probably be a lot shorter like her mommy. Ashlyn had 6 immunizations, but she did pretty well. She had a fever for a day or two, but we just gave her Tylenol and some TLC. Her next checkup will be at 4 months old. On Thursday, June was attacked by wasps. There was a nest underground on the steps up to our front door. We didn't know it was there, but there's quite the nest down there. She was stung 5 times and her finger swelled up really bad. We took her to Kids Care as a precaution, and luckily she was fine. They just gave her some bendadryl which helped a ton. Unfortunately, June is scared to go outside now. We think she was more scared about being swarmed, than the actual pain itself. We weren't brave enough to kill the nest ourself, because you can't kill an entire underground nest with spray. You are supposed to use 1/2 gallon of kerosene or diesel fuel, pour it in the hole, then cover it to kill them. Well, we would have been stung many times by that time...so we have an exterminator coming today to kill them. Plus, they are spraying our house to get rid of our spider problem as well. Oh, what fun. Otherwise, all is well. Jenn is preparing to return to work on Sept. 8th.

That is so sad about June, I would be a little afraid to go outside if I was her as well.
It is great that Ashlyn is getting so big. Kind of funny she is going to be as tall as Dustin.
